KCB Oyster Holdings is located in Lottsburg, Virginia and produces oyster larvae and seed from December through September. This is a seasonal, full-time job.

This is a unique opportunity to commercially produce oysters and develop a research/breeding program to improve hatchery performance.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following: - Physically walk designated beach areas throughout the night to monitor for nesting activity - Identify sea turtles and crawls up close and at a distance in darkness - Locate sea turtle nests and crawls and identify to species                                       - Report interactions with sea turtles to appropriate personnel and agencies - Collect data and perform duties as indicated by project specifications and permits - Conduct surveys in adverse/inclement weather conditions - Coordinate activities with construction crews during beach nourishment projects
